EV Charger Available for Guests!

Our EV charger will accommodate all EV Cars. We have a Tesla adapter. I appreciate our recent guest, Juan, for sharing this photo of his truck hooked up to the EV Charger. Of course, your EV car/SUV/Truck during the winter, snowy season needs to be able to travel in the snow with AWD or 4×4. EV charging locations in Cedar City, Panguitch, and Kanab. There are also options in Springdale. Our chalet is central to Zion and Bryce each entrance is just under an hour away.
Zion Canyon Visitor Center: There are two Level 2 charging stations located in the main parking lot. You must purchase a $5 access code from the Visitor Center bookstore (good for up to 3 days). These are very popular and often occupied, so it is best to arrive early.
Bryce Canyon City (Just Outside the Park)
Most charging is hosted by Ruby’s Inn, which is the largest provider in the area. There are not any EV Chargers inside Bryce Canyon National Park. Ruby’s Inn offers a large souvenier store and market and Resturant with Buffet. See our guidebook. You’ll find eight V4 Tesla Superchargers at Ruby’s Inn General Store. Pro Tip: If you are visiting in winter, battery range can drop significantly due to the cold and the high elevation (7,600+ ft). It is highly recommended to top off at the Ruby’s Inn Supercharger before heading into the park or continuing home.
Utah Family Travels – Stayed at Canyon Country!
Many of our guests are from Las Vegas, southern Utah, California and Arizona. Occasionally, guests come from different parts of Utah. With us being a central hub to both Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks we get out of state and even outside the U.S. visitors.

We are considering Utah being a retirement option in another five years, so I love learning about Rebecca’s travels in and around Utah. I found Rebecca’s “Utah Family Travels” on Instagram. They came out Labor Day Weekend 2025 to stay at our chalet and capture their family enjoying different activities. If you haven’t seen Utah Family Travels, check out the family’s Instagram travel page – just search Utah Family Travels! This family travels beyond Utah too!
3 Mile Hike Grotto to Emerald Pools & Lunch at Zion Lodge!

Our family visited Zion March 3rd while it was still no-shuttle and we could drive up the canyon. My son and I came to Zion in early December, and I loved being able to drive up scenic drive. My husband was looking forward to no shuttle. It was much busier in March and harder to find parking along the stops, but we did get one at the Grotto location. If you look out the window in the picture, you can see the view of Zion while dining. The food and service were fabulous at the lodge!
